Friday, Jillian was all over the place. Every book and toy seemed to be unloaded from every basket. However, at one point, Jillian decided to get up and play some piano:




A little later Friday morning, we went to see the doctor, as Jillian has had a clear, runny nose for a while now (which we figured were allergies), but when she started coughing a lot at night and in the morning recently, I decided it was time to make sure we were only dealing with allergies. While we were waiting to see Dr. "Al," Jillian had fun pointing at all the dolphins on the wall:




Then, someone called for Kitty Cat. Here's Jillian, helping Kitty Cat hold the phone:





Anyway, it was confirmed that Jillian did, indeed inherit the allergy genes (from my side of the family, of course). Her chest sounded "clear as a bell" and her ears were just fine. So, a clear, runny nose and coughing at night and in the morning = allergies for Jillian. We were given samples of Zyrtec (in liquid form) to give to Jillian every night before bedtime. It works for 24 hours, so we only have to give it once a day, and man, has it helped a ton! No more coughing and her nose isn't dripping like a faucet as much anymore! Yay!!!
