My Dad, brother, sister in-law, nephew, niece, and Grandma Jeanne came over nearly a month ago and I got lots of wonderful, special pictures. My Grandma was having a brain tumor removed the next morning (a result of her breast cancer spreading), and we thought that a little fun, uplifting family time would be a good way to keep the positive energy flowing before going into surgery the next morning.

Gunnar & Gracie

Something about Gunnar brings out the silly in Jillian!

My brother's family: Brian, Balinda, Gunnar, & Gracie with Grandma Jeanne

3 generations of the "left dimple" - I inherited my Grandma's left-cheek dimple...and Jillian got it, too!

I think you can actually see all 3 dimples best in this picture :)

My Dad & my Grandma Jeanne :)

Thank you, again, for everyone's prayers and positive thoughts when my Grandma Jeanne went in for her surgery - the surgery went well and she's now about to start some radiation, then chemo again. She's an amazing, strong, spirited woman that I love dearly and I know that in regard to all of this surgery, chemo, cancer stuff, "this too, shall pass." (a saying that Grandma has always been fond of!)
